There are 4 types of additional fees:
Additional insurance: Each carrier has its own rules for calculating additional insurance, but this is always due to the declared value of the shipment. Calculation methods and amounts of additional insurance for individual carriers HERE.
Irregular shape: Carriers charge very high fees for irregular shapes because it makes it very difficult to handle in sorting plants and such packages take up more space in cars or planes. In addition, most often the dimensions of such shipments exceed the permissible dimensions.
Custom packaging: If the package is not packed in a cardboard box or original packaging from the carrier, a one-time fixed fee of 1,23 € (inc. VAT) is added.
Cash on Delivery Fee (C.O.D.): If the customer chooses a C.O.D. payment, he pays an additional 1,95 € (inc. VAT).

At the moment, C.O.D. services are provided only by CTT.
