Hints E24: Pickup Method

You have two collection options:

Collection by courier
Select the date for the shipment collection. You can choose one of the next 5 business days. Keep in mind that couriers have a collection window from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM and usually do not call before arriving. Therefore, you must ensure someone is available at the specified pickup address during this entire timeframe.

Important! Carriers make only one collection attempt. Any additional attempt is subject to a fee, the cost of which depends on the carrier. Furthermore, if the collection fails due to the sender's fault, an additional fee will be charged.

To avoid potential issues with the courier, you can opt for the second method.

Delivering the shipment to a carrier's drop-off point
Except for Correos Express, all other carriers offer an extensive network of drop-off points. You can choose the option to personally deliver the shipment to a drop-off point. You will receive a label via email, which you attach to the shipment before delivering it to any chosen carrier's drop-off point. Typically (except for CTT), there are no queues at these locations, and you won’t have to wait. You also don’t need to complete any additional documents. You simply walk in and drop off the shipment. This is a very reliable method, and you can deliver the shipment on the same day the order is placed, speeding up its delivery.

Decide later
This option is for those who do not want to decide on the collection method on the day of the order. Such a shipment will be registered with the carrier, and you will receive shipping labels. Later, you can order a courier to collect it or personally deliver it to a drop-off point.
